The roof is made of 2 x 6 boards 14’ long placed 16” o.c.

For the exterior of the building I decided to go with a traditional board and batten siding suing some pine that I had cut into 3/4 “ thick boards. You can use any exterior that you want from metal siding to panel siding. I used wood also to trim out the top edge or fascia of the building.

The board and batten siding is made by using 1 x 8 boards and nailing them up with a 1 inch gap and then placing a 2” board over the gap.
